Will Alan Wake 2 come to Steam?
I’ve been told that E**c is the publisher for the Remedy game. If this is so will the game ever come to steam?

At this precise moment, Epic Games is bleeding funds with all the passion of an intoxicated individual inside a pub during St. Patrick's Day! Excellent.

It will if they want to sell some copies.

I feel bad for the hundreds of employees and their families that lost their income when Little Timmy Tencent fired the staff when he chose greed motivated poor business decisions over his own workers.

Give it a year, or two as it's likely a couple years exclusive deal, but they will want to make more sales so I'm sure it come to steam at some point.

Do you feel sympathy for the people who commenced their activities before or after the exclusivity ruckous? I believe it is important to make a major distinction. I personally do not feel grief for folks who make a conscious choice to frazernize with the enemy after they knew what they are up to.

Have you considered that people just want to earn a living without participating in some holy war?

Alright, let us initiate the exaggerations. Does this work well for you?
How come we have not already approached that specific "Rule of the Internet" yet.

Alan Wake 2 is a part of a 6 Month exclusivity program that Epic runs called Epic First Run[store.epicgames.com]. It’ll be around on Steam by next month or whenever that Summer Games Fest thing happens.

Alan Wake 2 is Published by Epic Games.

The last time an Epic published game was released on Steam was 2015.

It's their own self-published game. So whether it comes to Steam is down purely to Epic. Just because it's an exclusive doesn't mean it automatically comes to Steam after 6 months.

Because Epic funded this one and it's the publisher, iirc.

Exactly. This is PUBLISHED by E**c. So why would E**c put one of their own games on Steam?

You can just type the whole company's name, it won't be censored or anything.

At least, i expect that this was the reason. We are not in the Xbox vs Playstation fanboy era anymore, where we cannot name the competitors because we HATE THEM! :)
