Regarding Assassin's Creed Syndicate and its Jack the Ripper DLC...

Okay so first of all, I am from India and thankfully Steam accepts INR. But, when I bought a physical copy of the game, as usual I had to link it to my Uplay account. Now, since Steam has the game, it also has its DLC at a reasonable price... the Jack the Ripper is the DLC that i am craving for right now. I tried to buy the DLC from Uplay but dammit it neither accepts INR nor debit card. I have enough money in my Steam wallet so I can buy the DLC easily from Steam. But I am nervous on whether it will work or not as the game is not bought from Steam.
So, my question is... shall I buy the DLC from steam, and if I do.. will it work? and if not, then is there any other website from where I can buy the DLC by Indian Rupees (via debit card) that can easily be linked to my Uplay account?
Plz help me out guys... thank you. :)

Most probably and it is mandatory, you will get the DLC on Uplay too if you purchase it on Steam. Have a great day.

When you buy a game from one system, you need to buy there the DLC, the DLC from UPlay will not work with a Steam copy of the DLC

You cant even buy the DLC on Steam, if you do not own the game on Steam

Maybe you will be able to get it from Amazon?

Thanks a lot for helping me out guys. I finally got the dlc from g2a which accepted my paytm account so didnt even need to buy it from steam. but from now on... i'm buying games from steam and steam only! Thanks again..:)
