Fallout 4 problems - despite "Good" Hardware

Hey, so I am looking for some help. I recently =got Fallout 4 for christmas. I have finally gotten home and begun the install last night.

When I first started playing the game I had a fps of 9, on the lowest settings. I got some mods from Nexus, including the texture project and various other mods to imporve performace.

With those Mods which (I think I installed correctly) I managed to get the fps up to a meesly 15.

Here are the specs of my system accoring to Speccy:

Now, I took a look at the minimum and the recommened requirements, and I believe everything to be somewhere inbetween.

Could somone be so kind as to take a quick look at these specs and see where I have gone wrong, and possibly offer me some advie how I can get the fps up to 30! Either through mods or overcloking or whatever it is that may be possible.

open google type in "can I run Fallout 4" and when the results come up look for a site called Game Debate, click on that one and enter your system specs in to the boxes on the page, it will then tell you if your machine is up to the task.

Look again. The minimum GPU from AMD is a 7870. Your R9 255 is about half as powerful as a 7870.

As The Rock God pointed out, your GPU does not meet the game's requirements. The link above should show you the performance diffrence between the two cards on a Desktop computer. The mobile versions (such as in you laptop) have even less performance.

You would need a new laptop to get to 30FPS.
