Permanent ban in community game hub dead by daylight
Hello everyone, I received an endless ban in the dbd hub, for the reason - inappropriate, which is not entirely clear to me and no one can clearly explain in detail why I was banned, I contacted the Steam support service, they told me that you were blocked by the dbd developer and you need to contact their support, which is what I did, but according to the rules of the dbd developers, they do not remove the blocking of any social network such as Twitter, Discord, Facebook, Instagram and Steam, it turns out to be a vicious circle... Steam support does not want to remove the blocking and sends me to the developers, the developers do not remove the block... They banned me not according to the rules at all, the screenshots that I published back in 2022 were calmly uploaded and did not bother anyone, when suddenly I received a ban, there was no nudity or sexual materials, just screenshots from the game itself, in addition to screenshots, I received a ban for some illustrations and they also did not violate the rules of steam, some had nudity, but I want to note that the illustrations that were published with nudity were hidden from the public, I put them only for friends and I posted these illustrations a long time ago 2 years ago and they were not deleted, I posted only one illustration where there is nothing related to nudity in this year. I think it’s unfair to do this, to ban forever... I never used cheats in their game, I never insulted anyone on the forum. Yes, I admit that perhaps I could have broken the rules that you cannot post illustrations with nudity, they would simply deleted, I would have received a temporary ban and that would be all.

Valve won't interfere with how a developer runs their discussion.

DBD developers seem to have a policy of not removing bans that their moderators issue.

There is no circle. Valve directed you to the developer, the developer has said they will not remove the ban.

Do I think it if fair? No... at least not for a first offense, but the developer is in charge of their discussions. There is also a reason I never go to their discussions, and not just because I don't enjoy those kinds of games.

They have rules about what you did right here:

https://steamcommunity.com/app/381210/discussions/0/4357790501739361874/

Any inappropriate/offensive content: malware/phishing sites, porn, leaked content, copyrighted content

If the images you talked about were posted on their community hub of screenshots/artwork then that would be why.

Try responding to the ban message you should had gotten and deal with it there as no one here can do anything about it.

Yes, that’s exactly how the dbd developers adhere to very strict rules, for me the eternal ban was a big surprise, I’ve been playing their game since 2017, I even sent reports to cheaters when I met them, wrote to them on the forum, this way I helped the community get rid of cheaters, I’m very I donated a lot to this game, but they don’t seem to care at all about what I did, I tried to add as a friend to one of the discussion moderators, but he didn’t accept me further, I didn’t try to add, how come they’ll ignore me anyway

Because that is how they choose to moderate. What you contribute doesn't matter. Never think your are owed something as those who you think may owe you, likely don't see it the same way.

My only advice is it learn from it and move on with life. It really isn't worth it.

I’m just offended, it would be better to ban cheaters more often and fix the game, which at the moment now looks broken, than to block me forever, I’m not asking for too much if I violated something that I posted, just ban where there really is a violation and not block normal content, and issuing a permanent ban is too cruel

And you get nothing by being offended. Move on and live. Don't stagnate and suffer for no reason. Nothing to be gained by doing so.

If you don't want to support them over it, then move on to another game that you feel has a more fair community.

Yes, I no longer suffer now, I was blocked on july 22, 2 weeks have passed, I would gladly switch to another game if there were alternatives to this genre of games, this game has no competitors at the moment, everything that came out earlier that was similar failed in my opinion

It is important to recognize that this does not fall within the scope of your rights for this matter.

I said community, not game. A game is not it's community. You purchased it, so keep playing it. Just find a better community to be a part of.

Isn't the DBD forum well known for handing out heavy bans absurdly easy?

3 days, one week, one month, permanent

They have no qualms about skipping steps either.
