Anyone else using steam in a browser instead of the mobile app?
The app is so bad I'm done with it.

I use the app for nothing but signing in once a year or less.

To be honest, I didn't try using browser version of Steam on mobile. App is often an annoyance (it's really easy to get sent into some random tab during typing, because of that stupid bottom bar), but it never bothered me enough to log in on browser.

I usually have a computer in front of me, and when I don't, using Steam isn't really something I am concerned about. Mainly I use the app for the authenticator and it has worked well for that use. The few times I used it for the discussions or such, I had no issues with it.

Well, the Mobile App is for 2FA, the client is for installing and launching games, and the webpage is for everything else.

I use the mobile app more than the PC client the past 2 years.

I don't have any issues with it.

I always use browsers for browsing Steam, both on PC and mobile.

Pretty much this. A regular browser is more comfortable.
It also annoys me to hell it tries to open store pages in the app and not in a browser.

I do browse Steam on the mobile browser rather than the mobile app.

The Android version of the app was god awful when it came out, as switching between the tabs at the bottom would often softlock the app, and it still has basically no animations, transitions or feedback when you press anything. It's somehow still awful after all this time.
I like Steam, but the mobile app is a significant step backwards in quality ever since they overhauled it. It's an approval app and basically not much else, as some have pointed out.

As such, the only reason I would use it is if I desired instant notifications rather than upon switching pages, but that's really just a non-issue when a browser does everything else better than it.

If there is one thing I miss out of the old carbon fiber Steam look, it's the old mobile app, lol
