displaying NSFW content

So I'm over 18, I have checked all display preferences on my account. When I go to a community of an NSFW-game and select the posted pictures there, I need to confirm each and every picture, that its ok that I see it - just if it did not read the preferences of my account properly.

This is a user forum, so.. uhm, what do you exect us to do about this? ;)

Best you can do is check your store preferences and make sure that all NSFW options are enabled for both the store and the community: there are 2 checkboxes these days.

Optionally you may want to try and restart your browser or try to relog; it could be your browser pulling tricks here with 'stalled' cookies or something.

Just go to https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences/ and enable all that is content NSFW, sometimes it can be bug if you enable and still happending this, may be better restart Steam Cilent and check if all its right there.

everything is already enabled (for years). Restart of steam client did not help. I still need to confirm each picture i click, that its ok to display nsfw content.

So it's not your fault, sometimes even happens for me but i dont look for NSFW games, just some games who need verify your age, it's really annoying sometimes i know but what to do? no clue, just go forwad it.

Screenshots and pictures are part of the community aspect of games, as such all NSFW images are automatically censored regardless of the game itself, there's no way to disable it as outright there's no way to change community viewing settings for that stuff.

Its largely done that way because anyone can upload any type of picture to a game's community, this means even kids games can be spammed with adult images but with the community censor in place, it prevents them from seeing them entirely as not even the image itself will appear but as long as sexual content (not adult content) is enabled, you'll see a blurred image till you open it

The blur for sexual content is totally fine. But when i clicked it month ago, it displayed the pic (because of my settings). Now, each time i click on the blur, a question pops up asking me, if i want to see the pic or not. And I did not play around with the settings since then.
