How To Refund Excess Money??
I know how a regular refund works, I did it before. That's not what this is about and Steam is giving me the run-around. I mis-calculated how much money I needed so I added $15.05 too much into my Steam Wallet by mistake. That money will never get used, so I might as well return it to my Bank Account. Whenever I ask Steam this question, they tell me to request a refund through the normal method like refunding a game, except that doesn't work because the refund always gets rejected since I've played my games too long (and I don't even want them refunded). I'm NOT asking to refund a game, just return excess money added by mistake that I won't use. Can anyone help explain how because Steam Support sure can't??

You can’t. If you don’t refund the whole transaction, you’ll not get currency for wallet funds.

If you’re outside the refund requirements, a refund is not guaranteed.

It cant be put back into your bank.
Maybe one day you will find a use for it when you buy another a game it will automaticaly use the current funds in Wallet plus the rest from your Pay Pal or credit card unless you stop it from doing that.

Your wallet funds don't expire and they can be used in combination with other payment options, so you'll just buy your next game cheaper

You can only refund the complete wallet purchase, not part of it.

You can’t do partial refunds

You also can’t refund steam wallet funds once they’ve been spent

STEAM WALLET REFUNDS
You may request a refund for Steam Wallet funds within fourteen days of purchase if they were purchased on Steam and if you have not used any of those funds.

As you’ve already spent the money it’s not eligible for a refund
