Story games that non gamer can watch
Hey people.

Recently have started hanging out with my sister, who is a non gamer, a lot more and when we were younger I used to play Resident Evil & Metal Gear while she watched.

We are currently playing through Amnesia and she's watching (tbh I need someone else in the room haha) but has said is there anything like Resi or MGS she could watch me play. I think she means more story based content.

I know games have moved on a lot since those PS1 days but wondered if anyone had any suggestions on stuff I could get she might enjoy.

Ta muchly x

Story driven RPGs like FF and Point and Click adventures, probably...

Point and click adventures are even better, since most of the gameplay are just puzzles and your sister can give hints while watching...

Ok cool. Good idea. That's the genre I never play on my own so could be a good way to get into them

Walking Dead series is a good start.

I very much doubt it's about story. It's more about something happening on screen. Amnesia takes a lot of its flavour of you watining for something to happen while it doesn't.

Spectacle Fighters and Action Adventures are often great to watch.

Yeah I remember seeing that in an arcade cabinet at an airport when I was about 10. Haha.
Dragons Lair! Damn.

Indigo Prophecy, Alan Wake, Deadly Premonition (though warning it is a terrible port on pc and many people have lots of problems getting it to work, and really more enjoyable if you guys are familiar with the 90s TV show Twin Peaks), and The Witcher games (3 would be best for watching someone else play imo) have good story but also a lot of gamplay in between so don't know if she might get a lil bored with that.

If your not exclusive to pc and have a Playstation i would suggest The Last of Us (PS3 & 4), Heavy Rain (PS3), and Until Dawn (PS4).

Last of us would be the perfect game tbh.

Played thorugh it on release on PS3. Sadly I do not have access to it now but would gladly play again for her to watch.

If you have a PS3 don't look further than Uncharted. Set it to easy and play it loose and it's entertainment for the whole family. The new Tomb Raider also fits in.
Basically Indiana Jones movies, only better. :D

Your non-gamer sister might enjoying playing this charming game (providing you have a wired xbox controller for her to use):
