terraria is a game that perfectly fits this category saying its been around for longer than Minecraft and still gets at least yearly updates. not to mention the fact that it had an update this year CALLED THE LABOR OF LOVE UPDATE steam fix it immediately

Which games can I nominate?

The eligibility for the Labor of Love category works a little different from all the other categories.
The Labor of Love category is intended for games that have been around long enough to have been shown lots of development love - at least a year or so. So all games that released prior to 2023 are eligible for nomination with the exception of previous year's winners (Warframe, GTA V, CS:GO, Terraria, and Cyberpunk 2077).
For every category except Labor of Love, only games that released on Steam after the previous year's Autumn Sale will be eligible for nominations.

They even made sure to keep CS2 from being able to be nominated. Good on them for not allowing it.

But I'm constantly told that Valve manipulates these things in their favor. Why would they exclude CS2 if that were true?

I posted a comment (Oct 27) on my profile stating I was going to try that as the first thing to nominate to check it.

No question, some type of finish my sentence post.

Gives eye strain, induces bone rattling headaches, finger clicking without auto has endangered bird watching outside window, salesmen keep showing at my door to live then inside my house, everything starts to cause my nose to smell things as if covered in wax, children laughter has slowed down as if a dead and dying battery is slowing down music become more demonic, the sun stopped rising, when drinking water must chew or drown.
