Comment on how much you love your Steam account

I've been decorating my profile the way I like it, and I've been thinking about how much cool stuff I've played thanks to Steam.

I love my account, a lot of my favorite games are there and I have a lot of memories with them. I have no plans to stop playing, whether it's playing games I haven't started, games I love and want to play more of, or buying more stuff. I also have a list of games that I want to get all the achievements from (I know a lot of people don't see value in these but I like them) as well as continuing to meet up with friends in multiplayer games.

I think that would be the summary of what I think, now tell your thoughts.

Well, as a console main player, and one of many decades, and only dabbing into PC gaming some years ago, it's mainly about playing my older PS 2 era games, in HD, with mods that make the game so much better.

And with Controller Support, make them perfectly playable for me.

In addition, with Steams partnership with Ge Force Now, can play the newer PC exclusive games i've always wanted to play, thru my Xbox. It also provides better "quality" and options in even the same games you get on console.

And yes, the Steam Community. I'm very much at odds with my PC friends. But what i found astounding, is not even ONCE, in any adversity i have faced over the Win 7 issue, or Moderation or others, any adversity in the "type" of games i play.

If i was on IGN, or any more console based platform, i'd be laughed out of the room by saying i play "Return to Castle Wolfenstein", or COD United Offensive, etc. But never here.

There seems to be a "respect" or agnostic view, more or less, a more mature view, of the types of games, or choices people to choose to play. That's unheard of in the console community.

Likely because Steams users, advocate freedoms you do not see on the console platforms.

Freedoms for smaller developers to create games. For their peers to Review such games. To be a part of the process.

And that's why i generally get on Mr Newells case, about moves he may be making, to in essence, end, what he created in the first place.

The fact is, we all love our Steam. We just want to KEEP it.

I agree, I really love having all my classic games in one place... also some new ones and the customization of profiles.

I been sharing some good laughs with the screenshot system with a few old friends remembering some cool lobys in the past.

Well, to be honest, I do have a sentimental bond with my Wolfenstein (2009) gift item in my inventory. Somehow everyone wants to be friends with me, simply on the basis of my possession of this item.

In all honesty, I do have a strong liking for this particular user account.

meh, you are forced to buy games here and the other places are the same. i am just happy i can play indie games much easier.

I see that Blizzard is starting to release their games on Steam now (Overwatch and Diablo 4). I'm glad I decided to delete my other gaming programs and just focus on Steam.

PSN = 0 out of 10
XBox Live = 0 out of 10
EA Play = 0 out of 10

And anything else that requires a UELA and online activation = 0 out of 10

Old consoles like the SNES, and the Mega Drive, in which you just jam the cartridge in a play...

10 out of 10!

I like personality like my account. I have the room (and freedom) to provide the information to the reader as to who they're (potentially) sending a friend request to, and I like showing off my interest in Omerta - City of Gangsters even though I haven't played it in a very long time. (The game ultimately brought me to Steam.)
