Can someone pull your IP through Steam call if you DON'T answer ?

Some one added me who I assumed was just someone I'd beaten in a game a while back . I asked " why did you add me ? " They said " Please help me can you buy me a toy ? " Yes they said toy . I began record because i thought someone was asking me to buy them a sex toy and that nobody would believe me if i told it later to a group of friends . This person then said help buy me this game ( SniperGhostWarrior3. ) they sent a link. I DID NOT click the link. I told them i don't click links and asked how they found my profile . This person attempted to call me via steam's voice chat for a total of just 2 seconds then it stopped ringing . They removed me as a friend and i reported the profile.

I want to know if this person can pull my IP from calling my Steam if i DON'T ANSWER .

Another thing ... when clicking on the profile it says the person has 10 games ( 5 year old account with 10 games that have 0 achievements ) . Upon going to the profile ... black text box shows up saying to refresh the page as if you're suppose to click refresh in the black text ..... steam doesn't have that to my knowledge . The biggest red flag is something says " GetOwnedGames : 15 yet the account only has 10 via the steam page . All of this is weird .

I would leave a link to the profile but i think that's against steams rules .

I think that used to be a thing and there seem to be checkboxes in the Settings window to control how much info(the minimal amount for multiplayer games). Knowing someone's IP address(still not a thing that should be openly shared) means you can ask google about it, maybe find some public records. Secondly all they could really do is hit that IP (maybe see if you have a website or database or remote desktop socket unprotected) but if you're behind a properly configured router that will be hard for them to get in.
Of course once they're in all bets are off.

That's not my concern my concern is them trying to swat me.
Why would they call for 2 seconds then send a link ? The link would be a phishing attempt but the 2 second call that i didn't answer is really strange and it makes me think they tried to pull my IP.

An IP only gives a general location, not your exact address. Most someone can get from an IP is the city you live in and that can even be false at times, depending on how they route the IP address.

Steam doesn't share your IP address with other players. Whenever peer-to-peer networking is needed, for example in a voice chat, that communication is always relayed. However, we don't control what games using peer-to-peer connectivity do.

Yes, even with legal, free and open source software. There is one simple term for it, I wont explain further.. even if it is "legal and free software".

Dont worry though, your router doesnt have a "static" IP in general cases. Just restart your router and you get a new and different "dynamic external" IP.

Your router should also automatically get a new IP within a few days or even hours, set by your ISP and your router settings. A router also does have an integrated firewall as you sit behind many regular firewalls, without your knowledge. In regular even your internal IP is dynamic which should change after each PC/device restart and/or re-login to your W/LAN.

A "dynamic and external" IP is pretty much useless to attackers.. and remove that "friend" from your list, which is trying to scare you..

I never thought of this, but gave it a test anyways, called two people, and had them call me, did join call, and deny call 4 ways, all of them goes to Steam server, no one IP was shown at all during, accepting, or denying call on Steam chat. Hope that helps you with ease of mind.

Now just to point out there are scammers online that try trick people to login to phishing sites, such as free stuff, vote for my team, let trade, you have pending ban, or I reported you, all kinds of bait to try trick you into giving them login info, items, or money. So be aware what you do online such as downloading things from others, or clicking on things, or typing into.
