Regional pricing is made to make it fair for poorer regions to afford games just as EU/NA people buy 60$ with 0 issues.

Poorer ones have to deal with tax + currency exchange if they don't get their own regional pricing which might make that 60$ already more than 100$ without considering the small wage.
Yeah, I love to spend 60$ on games. Whole world fight with inflation and we all get poorer day by day. Everyone have their strugles and gaming is NOT needed to live. And when you are using Steam, you should comply with Valve's rules. If you don't like them, there are alternatives.

This is completely irrelevant as well usual steam threads. Nothing new. Instead of mentioning & fighting the problem we say: If you don't like it "gtfo".

The best way to fight corporations is to not give them your time and money. Running around forums will change little, especially if you fully support that "evil" corpo with your wallet.

You have no clue what the word 'fraud' means. This is not fraud. Not even close.
If someone live in USA and buy games Via VPN from Argentina region its FRAUD! Because this person shuld buy via USA region with USA prices not 10x lower prices from Argentina...

Again, this isn't how things work exactly.

Region hopping is not fraud, and not a criminal act on the face of it. It IS however, a breach of the contract.

So, stop worrying about people doing this unless you have clear evidence and you are free to report them.

Valve can see the evidence and will take action.
Steam took an action already. Read the last TOS update.

They've always had that stipulation about attempting to use VPNs to bypass regional restrictions. The thing is, using a VPN doesn't do that since that isn't how they confirm your account's region.

No, terms of service aren't action. They're part of the agreement.

How it actually works is they have the means to check and detect how you're purchasing games. When you purchase games the terms state you must have a payment method registered in the SAME country as where you reside.

So Valve can easily check your account to see your IP you're mostly at, where your card is registered (or where you're making payments from) and where you live.

If there's problems, you will be actioned.

Nothing to do with an updated terms of service.
Recently accounts of my friends with different regions have been automatically chsnged. This happened right after the email they got from steam about the TOS.

Speaking of actual experience. Not words.

It was an email telling the users their accounts were changed back and the ToS was included in the email because Valve has to tell the users why this change on their account was made.

Standard emails for account changes a company makes on the users behalf.
