wrong they don´t lose Money
while i Agree it is criminal using VPN to Buy a Game cheaper
but if they wouldn´t use a vpn they just would illegal download it, and would harm the developers even more
it is a 2 sided coin , Both coins are Illegal but with the one , developers atleast make some money
besides that i don´t think it would really work today, you would need a Bank account in the cheaper country,
What would be your take in case of such people use this VPN thing?
They can't just ban people.
Valve aren't the world police nor are they omnipresent.
So you seeing people do it does not mean they know about them, nor does it mean they can get to them, or simply you could be wrong too.
The thing is, if you se something wrong you suspect, report the profile via the profile itself. But do not assume that you will see the outcome though. If there is any evidence, they'll atend to it.
So do you actually care about this problem, or is it a problem because it's unfair to you.
Still didn't answer me, what's your opinion on people from worse regions where steam hasn't offered a regional price for them if these people where to use arg/turkey region.
Tf do you mean it doesn't matter?? So you're just saying, the people in the area have no right to buy the games and enjoy them which implies people will crack them??
How come this is not a valid reason??
Let's take Algeria for example, one of the most advanced in the area of central/north africa
YOU have to work for 3 weeks non stop to afford a 60$ game. Using USD pricing since that's what's forced there. (Actually more than 3 weeks because there's no currency bank exchanging so they have to pay in black-market which will make that 60$ around 90$)
Steam completely ignored adding a regional pricing and a solution.
If you're couldn't afford to buy games, hold it off for few months or years until it went to sale. Or just do steam card tradings/dota/team fortress/etc etc and make steam money off it. Or sell it on online group for collector stuff.
Region pricing are set to international USD conversation rate(afaik) + tax (in my country at least) so i can't even blame steam for insufferable regional pricing. But hey, there is always seasonal discount sales.
Regional pricing is made to make it fair for poorer regions to afford games just as EU/NA people buy 60$ with 0 issues.
Poorer ones have to deal with tax + currency exchange if they don't get their own regional pricing which might make that 60$ already more than 100$ without considering the small wage.
