Are sale prices constant through sale?

For the most part, yes. However, it is up to the developer if they wish to make changes to the percent off. Most will leave it, but some may have to correct something or put something on sale that didn't get flagged for it.

I can't buy this game because it is over 99% off! What do I do?

Post it here or on my profile and I will let someone know. This tends to be an error and can be fixed by Valve, if it is reported.

Is there a sales event, like a meta game or such?

Valve has not had that in the last few big sales they did, so I doubt it will happen now. May be we will get lucky and they will, all we can do for now is wait an see. Until the, there is the Discovery Queue and trading cards.

Where are my cards?

Server are slow at the moment. I'm waiting for mine too, but it will take time. They are there, it just hasn't been seen by your inventory yet.

Why can I not buy a giftable copy of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive?

Valve has disabled the ability to buy a gift copy of of this game.

They have given a statement to the media as to the reason why.

Do Summer Sale Cards expire?

From the Summer Badge FAQ:

Unlike previous badges, once the sale ends the cards will disappear. Make sure to trade and craft your badges before July 4th 10am PST.

Where can I find the best packages, for the least price?

It shows all the packages and you can even sort them by percent off. It may work for individual games as well.

Why am I not getting my card drops from the Discovery Queue!?!

Two possible reasons:

1: You need to be level 5 to get those drops.
2: TimeZones. The Queue resets at 10:00am PST/PDT. If you are going by your local time, and don't live in the PST/PDT time zone, then you are doing it wrong.

Actually it's partly true. They used to discount CS:GO quite heavily, but it rarely goes very high on the discount these days - literally because you could purchase dozens of cheap copies to use to cheat on!

Btw CS:GO is already on a cheap price lol

It'll be like the last sale. Some things will go on sale days into the sale and given what happened in the last one a few will go off sale before the end no matter what the front page says.

$15 could be a hefty price if you're 13 - 15 years of age like me. I'd be willing to pay the $15 but why do that if I can get it for cheaper?

Every year its the same. The store page gets over burden. The sales just are not showing up instantly. You got to wait it out.

That is good to hear. I was prob one of the few who was able to get on at like 1:01 and I was not impressed. Hopefully awesome deals are on the way.

Same thing every sale. Damn servers are so overloaded nothing will load. Can't buy anything because the store pages won't load & can't even look through my queue for the trading cards. Ugh..... Very disappointed. Anyone else frustrated right now?
