Well i played all zombie games from back in the 1994 until this day, if you compare all good and bad things and summarize them i would say Left for Dead 2.

Firstly i didn't like it, but after i started running around for achievements game become so addicting.

Dead Island Riptide, Dead Island, Killing Floor (Killing Floor 2 coming soon), Sniper Elite Nazi Zombie Army 1 & 2, Contagion, Resident Evils (not sure which have mp), Haunted Hells Reach (actually demons but anyway). I'd say all of these are better than Left For Dead 2 (well maybe not resident evils)

L4D/L4D2 and Dead Island series!

L4D2 is the best overall, tbh Dead Island was pretty terrible and poorly done. Bought it when it first came out and it was the worst game I've ever bought on steam. Sadly they wouldn't refund it or give me credit for it. Even if it were free to play I'd still suggest you look elsewhere.
