Parental Control on Steam
So yesterday when I tried to log in to my Steam account I got a message to give the PIN code for parental control. Well how is it possible. I live whole on my own.
Last time I remember, I was trying to trade with some guys. Some one sent me a link to his friends account well so I go in that link and need to confirm my browser by downloading some ♥♥♥♥... called SteamGuard.exe. AVG blockeded that cause of finding a trojan.
What the hell is going on?
(sorry for my english)

You got phished.

I'm not sure why they set parental control PINs, though. Support is *slow*, but that's not just on "I lost my PIN" tickets, they are slow on everything. So changing the password would work just as well.

Contact Steam Support. Also run another scan or 2(with different AV software) on your PC, then change your password after they're done.
Changing password will delete that parental control? Great.
Thanks for respond. I'll try now all what you told me to do.
If the problem still won't occure, I'll just contact you guys again cause counting on support isn't the best idea.

You may need to connect support any way, they may take some time but i really cant see how is it been a bad idea

Well I had some problems (but not with steam) and writing to support never helped. :(

If you mean you connected Steam support for a non-Steam or even Valve problem as in a problem with a game, then you just did it wrong. and its not surprised they cant help you, when talking abut a problem in something you need to talk to that problem support as in the games publisher support and so on
Well I didn't meam that. I had a problem with installing SMITE so I wrote to HiRez support. All they did is just tell me to install .NET Framework what didn't help further on I didn't recieve any help.
Changing password didn't help. I guess I'll have to write to the support. Thanks for trying to help.

I think they mean change password to protect your self. less to stop that, you will need to connect support to stop the Family View i think

And do not count one support to the other, even less in Steam Support case as its not even out-source as in most Supports
I wrote to support hours ago, and still didn't get a respon. How long can it take before they actually take the time to respond?
