Upon a crash, locate your gamelog.txt folder and the crash reason will be included in that. Many users have error-strewn reports exclusively down to mods yet still blame the game.
Also, post your system specs. Do you meet minimum system requirements?
The game works fine for me.
I do not use those type of mods anymore.
But I'd suspect antivirus for causing issues - check if anything's being quaratined, and check firewalls too.
Or it could be a mod as people have already suggested.
Or it could be some other software on your system interfering. I've had my antivirus start messaging pop ups and causing games to crash or drop to desktop so check things like this.
Or maybe even hardware issues. The more data you can provide on that forum, the better.
I have played both these games for years with NO problem at all until the last couple updates and my computer specs are high enough for the game. If the specs of my computer were more than high enough to run the games under Windows 7 Pro and Windows 10 Pro then I say there is something wrong somewhere that has not been noticed
Nothing wrong with the game at all and Montana has just been released to great success.
And yet it isn't. Which means it's far more likely to be something your end. In any case, all you can do is make sure you can check everything you can your end. That's how troubleshooting works./
This can also be repeated for ATS.
