If I block someone's profile, can they still comment on my review?

There's someone that's been harassing a review I did almost 5 years ago now and they've been at it almost non-stop. I've reported their profile and some of my friends have reported the profile as well, but Steam hasn't done anything. If I block their profile, will they still be able to comment on my review or will that stop them?

If it doesn't stop them, anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

I don't know how much self-discipline you have at your disposal on a daily basis, but blocking someone and acting according to the principle "out of sight - out of mind" is said to work pretty well. At least that's what I heard once ...

Yeah. I should have blocked them sooner. My concern is if they can still comment on a review I posted, even after they're blocked. They haven't just harassed me, but anyone else that comments on it. I delete the comments as quick as I can, but sometimes they're up for hours before I notice and he's already pissed off everyone by then.

no, they cannot comment on your reviews, screenshots, or art if blocked. They can still participate in any forum threads you are in but their posts will be hidden from view

Also: getting other people to report someone on your behalf is a terrible idea. Because support can check if they actually interacted with the other person, and if they didn't (because they reported to "help" you) then support could conclude that the other person is being harassed.

It wasn't to help me. The person I blocked was actively trolling the other user and they actively asked in the comments how to report someone for harassing behavior unprompted from me or anyone else. They had no idea I had already reported that person 3 years ago
