Bundle with Game i already own

hello . i wanna buy the assetto corsa DLCs ... there is bundle of all DLCs with game included that worth less then buying each dlc.... how can i buy it ? its not letting me since i own the game itself in my library

Forget Assetto Corsa, buy Forza Horizon or NFS Heat.

Thanks for telling us this. I've never encountered a game that forced me to not get the bundle because I owned the game already, that's a terrible way to do business.

But...
Have you tried opening up a ticket to steam support? Do you think they can do anything to allow you to purchase the bundle? Seems like something that would be a mutual benefit to do.

Support can't do anything. The developer CHOSE to use that bundle that requires you to not own any of their games

Tghe point is it's an all or nothing offer. No different to any other offer for anything in retail where it's only open to new users. You see this with magazine subscriptions, for example.

Things used to be very simple: you could get a key for a bundle with stuff that you already owned; it would just give you the new stuff and "discard" items that you already had (because Steam does not use multiple licenses in any way, like being able to family share the game to multiple people at the same time).

At times, that was a quite attractive offer because "full" packages were often cheaper than trying to individually purchase the items you were missing.

"Tailored bundles" had nothing to do with this; you can't get keys for these anyway.

Yeah but it ain't Steam is it? It's down to the publishers/IP owners.

The 2 bundles have existed for at least 5+ years. Also your getting confused they have had tailored bundles for a LONG time, they are the ones where you get whatever games you don't own.

The OP is having an issue with a NON tailored bundle where you have to buy it all as one lump. Again though, the dev's CHOSE to create the bundle like that.

You could refund the game if its less than 2 hours or 2 weeks. But you don't get the game again with it. Because I bought the fallout new vegas bundle and had new vegas.

Well it's not the first I have. I first heard it on here several years ago.
