music rights
hi guys i have a question. I am currently creating a game and earlier I used the music of undertail however I remembered about the copyright but I can’t write good music. I have a question if I buy additional content with game soundtracks, then I can use them. And sell the game?

No
Just use public domain music or buy music if you need
There are lots on offer

Humble Bundle has a soundtrack/music bundle every so often you may want to keep an eye on that

If you don't have permission from the Copyright holders, via a purchased license, then they can sue you for theft of their property.

You can find a lot of great music for free on YouTube, for example:

https://www.youtube.com/c/WhiteBatAudio/videos

All these tracks can be used in games. Just make sure to ask the composer if he is ok with that, if that's not clear yet.

No. The rights provided to a consumer are much different than what is required in order for you to use someone else's content in a product you're selling.

Checking the info on the creator site there it seems he sales music you can use in games and stuff
The stuff on YouTube is more for Live Stream and stuff from my understanding there

You cant just use his YouTube content for free

I did its still kind of confusing with his info on the main page:
STORE says:
Royalty free music products including music for games and films, sample/loop packs, sound fx packs, t-shirts, hats and more!
FREE MUSIC says:
Hundreds of tracks that are 100% safe to use in your creative visual projects and streams, available on my YouTube channel.
Dose that mean you can use both for games? are they separated and one you can use for more live and stuff but not for games and so on?
He says you can use his stuff in the FAQ, the question is dose that includes YouTube videos you download as long as you credit him? or it means when you pay for it?
I don't know maybe I read into it too much :D:

I'm sorry but you didn't read enough, pay attention to questions 1 and 5:

Of course, not all composers are that nice that's why I said make sure to check with them, in case anything is unclear.

Btw, you can download his music for free on Bandcamp, there's no need to extract audio from YouTube.

It's worth noting, the paid ones are on youtube as well, but it makes it very clear at the top of the description they aren't free.

Mate, please stop taking the assumption on what I read and what I do not read
I read it, and I read it, and I read it
I still don't see anything defining the YouTube or Store content there
5 could also talk about YouTube videos with ads...

But ya, best to just ask the music creator to make sure what ever the case

Thanks then that solve the issue on the matter I guess, if there are free once out there and the paid once separated by info in the description that clears things up

Yes, you might have noticed the video is just an ad for the full pack, like a TV commercial.

Anyway, all his free music can be downloaded here:
