For my Steam games, I view them diffreently as I've said I'm not a big PC gamer. I mostly get a lot of games in charity bundles so a lot I'll never touch most likely.
But in any case, on other platforms, yes, I do love and play every single one a lot or at least to completion. Often revisitng many times. I do have a lot of time though, so there's that, and I have a wide taste in games.
It's just that when I get burned out I recognise it quickly and go do something else, because it means when I return I dwell on the games "harder", I guess you could call it.
So, yeah I do indeed spdn a hell of a lot of time with every games from the ZX81 to the PS4.
Yes I was planning on making a fair bit of customisable content, not sure what you mean by sale, and I intend on making a survival/open world/ sci-fi game as a first one.. but I plan on big things for the future of it all
Also, you need to get people as I said above, by having GOALS up fron.t NObody is going to pay attention to you without a carrot. You don't say "hey I'm open to any ideas, just tdiscuss" because that's like you asking for people to do your work and nobody's attracted by that.
You need to give some clear framewaork of your goals and make it different to other places, or you'll get nowhere.
If you can't then honestly don't bother.
I guess for story heavy game is atmosphere something to make me care about what happen to the character in the world but not the one that spoil the player with easy choice ( this dude is good that guy is evil and that's it) instead something that make the player left wondering "did i make the right choice ? hmm but still".
For game play is good pacing game not too easy not that hard doesn't need insane amount of grinding , a big plus if gameplay complement the story .
that actually helps a lot... thank you! i will use that for my story line processes (:
I can absolutely tell you how it will go if you take that route. Depending on how lucky you are speaking about it on the internet, you will get a number of people join. They will post a couple of things, maybe ask a couple of questions. Then it will go quiet and it will fade out within weeks.
YOU NEED to offer something, and something others do not.
What I do mean about getting others to do the work is by you pushing the goals off onto them. You see it a lot. The kind of "hey guys, I want this channel to be whatever YOU want. Just tell us what you want and I'll accommodate it".
First of all, that's never going to work because as I said you're just aimless and that won't go anywhere, but you never get concensus from people anyway./ It's prone to arguments.
So your best bet is to sit down and ONLY tackle making the group when you DO have something to offer.
The best way to look at it is like this - empathy. Put yourself in the position of someone WANTING to join a group. What would YOU look for and what would YOU avoid?
You'd probably avoid generic, lack of goals or meaning etfc.
