CAUTION ON USING IDLER WEBSITES!!!
Good morning,

I want to let you know that these websites are not reliable and something that could use safely. The last month, I purchased a package on SteamTimeIdler, and the next day, my Steam account was hacked, and the password was changed.

Trust me that day I panicked a lot, but I managed to get my Steam account back without any problem while feeling relaxed. Thanks to GOD, they did not remove my authentication Steam Guard from the account. Otherwise, I could not be able to recover the account myself. The good thing is that there is a second option just in case I could not recover it myself, which is Steam support explaining everything and giving details to prove to be the Steam account owner.

The Steam account linked on SteamTimeIdler was in a "loading" state instead of the green light, which means when it is operating in the online servers.

Trust me! If you are a current user of these websites, such as SteamTimeIdler, unlink your Steam account from the website and change your details.

- Unlink the Steam account from the website, reset the Steam password through the Steam Support website by verifying the email and SMS code and then changing the password, getting new Backup Steam Guard codes, and finally changing the Steam email address.

if you are a current user from any website like this or this website or are thinking of purchasing a service and linking your Steam account on the website, DON'T DO IT OR YOU WILL HAVE YOUR STEAM ACCOUNT STOLEN.

What I think the owner and his co-owners do to steal your Steam account is the following:

Once you purchase a package and link your Steam account by adding your Steam Guard code, you are GIVING THEM YOUR SHARE SECRET CODE (I was unaware of this). With this secret code, they access your Steam account and are allowed to change your password and email address without your consent.

NEVER AGAIN! :steamsad:

WTF would one want to use a web site when there's tools to run locally

Actually, that is my problem "locally". If I purchased the service is only for the 24/7 running, which is something I could not do.

Why could you not? A Raspberry Pi doesn't take that much power.

I understand ReBoot, but I do not want to use anything. The purpose of this post is to warn the current and upcoming users of these websites. Thank you. :)
Paying to idle a game is about the most idiotic thing.

What is the point of such things in the first place? What is the benefit of idling a game?

Getting trading cards.

yes... giving them (or anyone else that is not Steam) your password and 2fa code will likely lead to your account being stolen.. never give your login details out to a 3rd party.

You already spammed this some time back, see

(only thread that still up, others got removed).

Any reason in particular you're posting the same crap again? This is like telling people that handing out keys to your home is a bad idea.

How is that not a red flag? Seriously?

That's not true at all. Whether it's a local program or a website, you are using something to idle.

I mean.. I will just play the game whenever I am free to play them. That's all. No programs. By the way, the purpose of this post is to warn current users and upcoming users of these websites. We are not talking about me.

Well.. That post was deleted because it was not structured well and I could not explain it as clear as possible.

The thing is you've opsted about this before.

And when you post such things here, you may be wanting to be nice and altruistic.

But the problem is the people that need to se this type of posts typically don't come here and don't read anyway.

We know this from experience here.

We know YOU didn't for example, or you'd have seen previous warnings about such scams.
