Communal showers isn't a thing where i come from. As for the other thing. If i was your neighbour i'd be in jail. But No doesn't sound like my idea of fun.

Stereotypical male gamer? So you mean the main demographic of this medium? I'd recommend checking out games pre-2013. This way you can avoid products that call white men evil and masculinity toxic.

It quite depends on where you are from.

US: play Madden or any shooter. But not Doom, you might not be able to handle the satanic imagery.
South America or Europe: FIFA
Germany: anything simulator, the more it feels like a real job, the better
England: Ashen's Cricket
Eastern Europe: any WW2 themed strategy, the more complex the better
Russia: anything competitive that you can ♥♥♥♥ your team over
Sout Korea: anything competitive or grindy that you can play for 12 hours a day
China: the same, but only actually play for 2 hours a day
Africa: why you are asking? You're too poor to afford anything anyway
Australia: you are probably to pissed to play anything. So just go to the forums and complain about game prices
Your Mom's place: JRPGs
Your own place without a girlfriend: anything hentai
