Any decent offline card-games?
Is anybody aware of a quality PvE card-game, that features a strong AI?

Thank you!

Magic the gathering 2012 and 2014 are pretty good.

I have 2014, and kind of have to agree. However, I can't shake the feeling that the game is bogged down by trying to be more of a trial version for the printed card "lootboxes", so they limited the gameplay of the computer versions.

Doesn't work with me at all, though. What in the world would I do with printed cards? Even if they were reasonably priced... they would lack an opponent.

Can't say I found the recent Magic games very good at all, they almost entirely miss the main feature I liked of the physical card game - building your own decks to your own strategies - the 1997 version (Shandalar) was far superior to the recent incarnations I have played.

Thanks so far, everybody...
Magic is really good, but, as far as i remember, the AI is REALLY stupid ^^

Slay the Spire is great, but, still very Early Access (already beat it a dozen times)...

is pretty good and has over 6500 cards from the real life version to build decks from.

Good point I forgot I had this in my library, I prefer the older ones, those "fusion" decks were just far to covoluted in my opinion and they kind of took the fun out of it, good game overall though.

yugioh legacy of the duelist.

o
someone already recommended. IF you get that + all dlc, the challenges and story mode has a ton of duel/ai's.

I remember having a lot of fun with Yugioh capsule monsters. I know it's not on Steam, but it's still a pretty decent game.
