Workshop unique visitors vs subscribers: is my math wrong ?

Hi folks, some time ago i made my first VR destination in the workshop and it has been a popular hang-out for many including me and my friends.
The statistics tell me there have been over 10K unique visitors but the total amount of unique people who subscribed to the destination itself is over 40K.
I have the impression the math isn't adding up or is it ?

My guess is some are just adding it from a collection or adding it without going in, and possibly adding it from inside VR
In all this cases it may not count it, as they did not visit the page but did it from else where

That is at least my guess

37,275 subscribed to the mod - 10,574 viewed the mod but did not subscribe = 47,849.

You could be right, 10K actually went in the vr world, 40K subscribed but didn't necessarely go in. Makes sense.

The difference is the amount of people subbing to the workshop trough other means than visiting the workshop page. For example, in the app "Wallpaper Engine" You can sub to Wallpapers directly in the app, never needing to open the Workshop in the first place.
So 10k people visited the Workshop page, 37k are currently subbed to it in total.
