I feel like the motto should be: "Remain vigilant, avoid another Starforge incident."
Deathgarden bloodharvest.
it was a nice game. But then the developers changed things all the time to get more players. Achieved the opposite, and had the idea to close the game. After a few months.
It was a scam in my eyes. And stupid until that point. The initial game was good.
God bless digital games as a service eh?
Fallout 4? Pretty watered down compared to previous Fallout games, but also much more atmospheric and accessible imo. May be more of a simple immersive sim than an actual rpg, but for that exact reason it became my favorite Fallout game. Fallout 1 & 2 are just too unrelenting and unforgiving, besides being horribly dated nowadays, and Fallout 3 is simply overrated imo. Only Fallout game that came close to being as enjoyable as FO 4 for me was New Vegas.
In the end I think that FO 4 is still a much better RPG than Skyrim ever was...
1, 2, and New Vegas are more complicated but they stand out much more once you understand them.
I've seen this comment many times, and to some degree I agree too.
But the reality is that Morrowind was the pinnacle in that it was the most complex, but that doesn't always equate to better. Sure, you or I might think so, but that does not make great sales.
Oblivion I would say was the pinnacle or the foothold that pushed the series into the mainstream, and from a sales perspective and pleasing the public at large, that is definitely better by being more accessible.
Its the best version of the game. Optimized very well compared to most PC games, and the massive number of mods make it beat the console versions by miles.
Black and White was very interesting in concept, but i found the actual gameplay pretty boring. It's not a bad game, but not my cup of tea either.
Army Men is a similar case, interesting in concept, but very poorly executed. The controls ruin it for me basically.
