Kaspersky is quite finniky on default settings already and will explode with false positives on higher settings.
Everything on Steam is tested. Do a verify files to make sure it's still the original file in case you suspect your machine could have been infected by something else. Otherwise it's a false positive.
Patchers and launchers for example are notorious for causing issues. Because they modify files outside of their structure with content loaded from an uncertified internet source.
