I found the hacker that hacked my profile, please help me report him.
This started a few days ago, I suddenly can't log into my account even though I am entering my correct login credentials I did not make any password changes, at first maybe I thought I just needed a password change just to make sure even though I did not change my password. Then after going through the recovery process, steam has been sending me verification codes through my email, but whenever I open my email I do not receive any emails from steam even though steam says that they found the email associated with my account. Long story short, I caught the hacker, or at least I saw my profile with a new name and profile look, How do I know it's my profile, because I checked my screenshots and inventory. Now I cannot report the account that the hacker has been using, which is the account I'm trying to recover because from the fear that Valve might delete the account. This hacker has been using my profile with a different name and different profile showcase.....HERE IS THE PROFILE LINK TO MY STOLEN ACCOUNT WHICH THE HACKER HAS BEEN USING: https://steamcommunity.com/id/*********/

For those of you wondering how I found the hacker, well I logged into my other account which is this one I'm using to post this thread, then thank God I downloaded the newly bought games on the PC I'm using, when you logged into another account within the same PC, and if the games have been bought with another account you can borrow those games from a friend that has those games, and from there I found the hacker because the only friend that I have on this account that I can borrow games from is my other account, the one that got hacked.

Now the sad thing is, Steam will surely ask me for proof of ownership...how can I provide that when this hacker deleted my emails concerning my proof of ownership, emails like "thank you for purchasing this"
Please help me guys I really wanna regain my account from this hacker, I just spent a lot of money on the newly bought games I got from the steam summer sale.

Naming and shaming isn't allowed so I would strongly suggest removing any names and links. We cannot posse up for you, that's too open to abuse by people trying to gang up on innocents to trust.

There are no 'hackers'. Keep your account security closer to hand.

Follow the guide Muppet among Puppets linked.

You should remove all the names mentioned because naming and shaming is not allowed.

Mass reporting won't do anything. One report is enough, so there is no purpose for us to mass report the account.

Just to be crystal clear here, naming and shaming is not only against the rules but mass reporting isn't going to get the effect you think.

I don't know why so many think this is a thing.

Valve like most other places work on EVIDENCE. The number of people who report is completely irrelevant. YOu can have one person report you, and if the item in question is against any rules or whatever, you will get actioned. But if a million people reported you on something that was demonstrably not a problem, you will NOT get actioned.

Number of people does not make something more serious.

You weren't hacked... you were phished. Be smarter and it won't happen again.

What you 'found' is most likely another poor fellow account which was hacked before yours and used to steal other people's accounts.

Consider your very account has probably become the one used to 'hack' other people's accounts.

Naming and shaming these profiles in public is doing more harm than good as at best you're directing people to another victim's account and not the real hacker's one.
