Requires 3rd party crap from Microsoft, thanks, but no.
LOL!
Try looking up Project Zomboid, OP.
It's been out for testing for a bit for some if you liked left 4 dead style games.
Dead Island
You are always on the move, doing stuff for 3rd party idiots who are always standing inside the wire, there is no survival just a smash buttons till you are done with the quest while you hope that the path for the next area will soon open its doors for you
Dying Light
You are the grocery man, actually you have to do is to parkour other people groceries, the night is scary (for you) and that's pretty much it.
Dead Rising
I'm fumbling with Off The Record, mostly because is a crapy GFWL relic, first game just bored me off as you spend most of your time being grappled, hope survivors will not get stuck on the way to the safehouse and doing peeping tom stuff for Otis which is once again one of those idiots ordering you around while he stays inside the wire.
Right or wrong it's up to you.
I'm through with it, always played with my brain off hoping to not end in a lobby filled with griefers
It's something made "for the players" and the last Sony console I ever bought was the PS2 cause it had something called games, not wallpaper simulators
WB, it's a generic backyard shooter which uses the point A to B formula made by the creators of a dead game, it looks more a glorified Zombie Army Trilogy with p2w or gacha mechanics, hard pass.
Looking for something comfy not something scripted to make you mad every 20 minutes because you farted indoors without wearing a mask
If you are looking for a "comfy" game then zombie games is not the way to go.
1. Dead Island
2. Dying Light
3. Dead Rising
4. DayZ Mod
5. State of Decay 2
6. Left 4 Dead 2
7. Days Gone
8. Back 4 Blood
9. Project Zomboid
Many of them would be in every list in the zombie genre. Maybe it's just not your type of thing. Which is totally fine. You can't force a genre onto yourself.
Good games, disable the hit point display.
Dying light, same with parkour.
Dont know which are much better than them. In an apocalypse, you tend to gather stuff. It did not feel that artificial.
