Im 43, been gameing most of my life, Im very calm and non toxic and enjoy playing with friends more than winning. Would prefer a female friend, but not to be weird or complicated, Just enjoy the company more.

You realize how creepy it comes across to ask for female "friends" on an online forum?
Either you will get know some by playing or not. But asking for them specifically? That's not a dating platform and most females have no shortage of creeps following them.

The best place to ask for players in any game's you love ask in that game's discussion page.
You can find them under the Artwork of that game in your library.

I did that to. but its not for one game. Just a friend in general. I tend to get along with girls better. Not trying to be creepy. And iv seen exactly how much creepy they have to deal with =(

There's usually only a few types of people who openly ask for exclusively female "friends" on game platforms.

Lonely creeps looking for a "gamer girl gf"/someone to creep on
Other girls/women, who are tired of said creeps.
Or potential child predators.


I'm not saying OP is any of these, but there's a stereotype for a reason when it comes to this stuff.

well i am very lonely. currently without any friends. iv been disapointed by male friends over and over. But the friendships iv had with girls have been mostly positive. Im not really in a good place to try dateing right now.

Because every topic is quick to reduce this question to be creepy?

Of your 3 examples, 2 were about bad creeps or criminals.
1 was about girls having enough of creeps.

But of course you did not want to say that is the case, but you say that.

The best advice I can offer is just play it cool. Post regularly on the forums, be chill and people will start adding you. I mean, I got a pretty good amount of friends just by goofing off in the discussions (I'm too proud to add people, so all of them legit think I'm awesome enough to add on their own volition :P). Either that, or join a group that best fits your interests and start making friends from there...at least then you'll have something in common with whoever adds you.

Legit most of my female friends, I made while just playing in game with. Friendship should happen naturally, not forced.

Whenever I hear someone say "female" I can't help but think of it in Wallace Shawn's voice as the Grand Nagis. Don't be a Ferengi, they're good comic relief. Just not so cute in real life.
