Forza titles on Steam?

Gears 5 is on here and I have it.
Most of the peeps on my friends list, don't own it.
Usually, I notice when a new game is released on Steam, BOOM. They own it and are playing it.

Not so with Gears 5 when it released and today (11/20) they still haven't got it and it's been out for a while on Steam too.

So I suspect, the Gears fanbase (with me) were excited when it was released on Steam.
Plus, Gears 5 could be a test gauge to see to how well their other MS games would fare when released on Steam. The Forza fanbase, I guess it's just you and me, OP.

I think Horizon 4 might eventually get released on Steam ...maybe, just not today (11/02/20)

Microsoft is selective when it comes to having their games added to Steam. Sadly, Forza is not one of those games.

It's unlikely the current Forza titles will come to Steam but more likely the future ones. Forza Horizon 3 has been removed from sale now and support for 7 and H4 is winding down.

For me, I wanted to play Forza 7 on Win 10 and so I bought a 2-year Xbox Game Pass for PC, alongside my 12 mo-renewing Xbox Game Pass for my Xbox X.

I decided to ditch these Xbox Game Pass redundancies for both my Xbox and PC and now, I buy Xbox "digital" games outright, preferably on sale.

okey, Forza Horizon 4 is already released on Steam ... but I'm very interested in when they will also add Forza Motorsport 7 :D because I'm very much waiting for it

Forza horizon 4 is now on steam.
only the progress won't sync with the microsoft store forza. kind of a bummer.

but i really hope Forza motorsport 7 will also be on steam.

nevermind forza motorsport 7 will end it's life in September maybe motorsport 8 on steam??

You could check your version of Forza M7 and see if its shared on both PC and console platforms.

Basically, if your version is available on both platforms: Win 10, Xbox X & Xbox Series.
Install the PC game and then see if you can add it as a non-Steam game.

horizon 4 is also supposed to be a microsoft exclusive, heck even xbox exlusive back then
but now microsoft realized that they will make more money if they put their games on other platforms especially something like steam and so.. they did.

It already happened. FH4 is on Steam and the FH5's Steam page is up too.

You can forget FM7 on Steam, though. It will be de-listed soon (as is often the case with racing games using car-brand licensing) and removed from the MS Store entirely.
