What PC game magic systems are your favourite and why?
Hello all.
I am on the hunt for a game that has a deep, interesting and impactful magic system.
I really like the idea of researching, tracking down lost magic spells, books components etc.
Im curious what game magic systems people like and would recommend.
I am currently playing Pathfinder Kingmaker and am enjoying the universalist Wizard as it adds a bit of excitement when finding new scrolls that I can add to my spell book.
Below is a list of games I have already tried.
WoW
Skyrim
PoE 1/2
Path of Exile
DoS 1/2
Grim Dawn
Tyranny
Warhammer TW
The Witcher series
BG and other early RPG,s

Path of exile is great with it's magic and skills system , it's offer several options in how you can alter each spell or skill.

I agree, I enjoyed playing it.
The "Two Worlds" series are old games with elaborate spell creation: combinations of the various schools of magic, levels, modifiers, and buffs
Magicka, Lichdom: Battlemage, Dawn of Magic, ...
You are forgetting quite some great systems.

Don't understand what's so special about WoW. It's just another ressource based skill use system.
