Contact FaceIT. They have to unassociate the account.

That is outside of Steam's juridiction. You have to contact FaceIT.

They told me:Once a Steam ID/game has been linked to a FACEiT account it cannot be decoupled as per our terms of service.

To be clear - you cannot deactivate this account, create a new one and/or move your Steam details across. If you do attempt to do this you will be met with an error advising that your Steam ID is already in use.
wtf

That's the thing: the faceit acc that uses my steam acc is not mine :/

Then you're out of luck.
Deal with the consequences of your actions. Namely failing to secure your account properly.

That is what their support told the OP.

That's...definitely not law-compliant though.

The OP could sue. Of course that would cost time and money, but such a rigid set of "terms of service"? Any reasonable court would rule that they need to allow decoupling; especially if the plaintiff serves evidence that the coupling was made without their consent. Hell, if true, such terms of service don't even allow for accountability in case of a mistake. They need to be kicked in the ass and told to get their ♥♥♥♥ together. It's like, your address is public, how would you like it if someone used it to sign you up for some twisted smut; and then when you try to unsub, you'd be told "Oh lol no, this is permanent BECAUSE TERMS OF SERVICE"?

Sure, we may be all "Ha ha st00pid OP didn't secure his account"; but it's a bit different in legal.

Anyone can write that. Maybe we should see if it holds up in court.

Tell me, would you cut off your hand because "terms of service" said so? And don't tell me you're reading all of them. You'd have a huge backlog.

What law would those house rules be in violation of?
They have a one account per user policy. Which they have in their Terms of Service.
I don't see a problem with that.

If the OP would have followed basic account security guidelines all of this wouldn't have happened.
