Virtual controller driver mesing real controller driver
Hello all,

I wanted to start this discussion as for to serach for best solution that might help me, as well as to others here.

Thing that troubles me is that I can't get my xbox one controller driver to work normally, when in parallel I have virtual controler driver installed.

Reason why I installed virtual driver is that I wanted to use controller emulator for my steering wheel (Logitech NASCAR steering wheel - M/N: E-UK12).
Some time ago with specific windows 10 update, logitech driver for this wheel was not supported anymore. However, windows still recognizes wheel, but it turns off after a while.

I use this wheel to play Dirt Rally, but I also use xbox one controller to play Rocket League.

I first installed vJoy as virtual driver for controller, but that one gave me a bit more trouble than x360ce, which I installed later.

x360ce uses ViGEm Bus virtual driver and with this one I can remap steering wheel as xbox360 controller all with force feedback.

Now, when I play Rocket League, my xbox one controller starts to brake off as it gets unrecognized in moments when in game. This is because virtual driver is not compatable with real controller driver.

So, to prevent those issues, I need to uninstall virtual driver and to delete all its associated files in System32/Drivers/ folder. As well as to restart PC after this.

This means that every time I want to play Dirt Rally I need to install vtrual driver and every time I want to play Rocket League I need to uninstall it. This is a lot of hastle to go through every time I want to play my favorite games.

I'm hoping that there can be solution for compatibility between these type of controller drivers.

:teddy_talk: Could've been attributed to the USB Suspend settings in Windows.
For some unbeknownst reason, this USB suspend setting is turned-on and set for a certain amount of time, say like 10 minutes; but, I believe there is a manual option to turn it off entirely or set it at 9999 hours.

Your other issue is "It" could be something that installed elsewhere that didn't get uninstalled and restores its value settings in the registry each time it checks and restores it.

I would suggest visiting that Virtual driver site and see if you can contact their site help or visit their forums if that site has one.
