Will community content removed for violating the rules be deleted eventually?
Last night some ♥♥♥♥ happened, someone made some death threats to me, I retaliated by antagonizing the ♥♥♥♥ out of them by uploading and posting some edgy ♥♥♥♥, deleted literally all of it and in the short time there was only one of the images that got removed for violating community standards. That's fine, I was expecting that. I'm not a repeat offender or anything so I'm not too worried, I practically always just keep to myself anyway. Rather, what I'm wondering is if community content flagged this way will eventually get deleted completely, or if I can ask steam support to just actually remove it instead of hiding it where only I can see it.

Oh ok, my bad - I had to go via your profile to find your 'status' and made an incorrect assumption.

Your ban should expire after 1 day (total), so somewhere today (I'm not even gonna try and do the math between the ban time, your timezone and my timezone). The item however will remain banned.

Am I assuming you're asking if you keep seeing the 'banned' item under Artwork? The answer is probably yes, you can not delete it as far as I know (or maybe you can?), but obviously it will disappear as new items are added.

It will most likely be there forever, This is how they can keep a record of bad behavior. You answered why in your own post . We don't know if you are a repeat offender if you go around deleting everything although I think the mods can still see the deleted posts.

Meh, they'll get over it. I guess if the steam mods enjoy there being a picture of a cladless loli drinking from a milk box on my artworks hidden where only they and I can see it they can keep it. I'd rather it be removed outright though, so it says more about them than it does me.

I guess if you want to see it that way. You are the one that uploaded the content not the mods. I didn't realize it was artworks on your profile. You just want to behave inappropriately and then not have any repercussions

If you don't like the image being there forever you should not have uploaded it. As I said it is there so they have a record of your inappropriate behavior in the future so you can't claim I never done this before like you are already doing.
Say what you like, I know the situation better than anyone. :)
It stays on your record, but it doesn't matter if you don't break the rules (too often).

And as for this..
The fact that steam has any sort of intervention about the content you upload to your own profile is actually pretty pathetic.
The problem is, that's not what happened - you uploaded it into a public hub, visible to everyone. We generally stay out of private area's, I can't fathom to think how much people you would need to moderate all user interactions.
That had nothing to do with what I'm talking about here, that's something different from a long time ago unrelated to just myself lol. Sorry it came off that way, I actually understand and respect why this one happened. I just don't want to have to see it every time I open my art gallery. More specifically I'm wondering if the image will be deleted after some time or not.

The context to that one is more related to the rule set related to "offensive content". Not so much porn or images in a gallery. ♥

as far as im aware i was never really banned, or if i was it was very pointless as it had zero effect on literally anything, but thank you for the information and advice! I appreciate it tremendously. it means a lot you took the time out of your day. one last thing though, I am interested to know what the ban is you are speaking of if you feel like responding. You have my consent to detail it publicly if that's an issue!

Your screenshot appears to have been banned and had locked you from uploading more artwork for a day.
ooooh. lol okay.
If somebody makes death threats, call law enforcement.
It was an Australian. I'm more concerned about the possibility of a tree falling on me and killing me in my sleep.
