people who pirate games

so i went to a pirate site for the first time and seen their comments on games
they keep talking S*hit about the game that they don't even buy, on how lame it is and wish they can play a better game one person commented "stop posting this lame ass game, give us better one"

i never pirated a game or bought a game before, i mostly play MMO and MOBA that are free to play it's better than stealing, i just feel so bad for the developers who works so hard for their games just to be talk trash by people who don't even buy them

so what do you think of people who pirate games i want to know

I think most people who pirate games are the ones who enjoy gaming but think spending money is not worth it. Who wants to pay for something that you "can have for free", right? They care very little about the gaming industry health or not at all. It's a shame that they don't realize the harm that they cause.

You can easily find the same behavior on Steam.

Once again, that can also happen on Steam.

But what's there to talk about? People pirate games (or software in general) for a variety of reasons. And truth be told? It doesn't always have to be bad. A software pirate now could be a vivid buyer in a few years. Not to mention the free advertisement which may be involved; the pirate might interest others who do have the means (and intend) to purchase.
