Star Wars Battlefront 2: Download speed slow but i have good internet.

I have been having the same problem on other games. I'm trying to download Star Wars BattleFront 2 and it says it will take 1 day and 1 hour to complete but i did a speed test on my internet and im getting 104.3Mbps and same with upload. My region in Downloads is set to United Kingdom - London where i live and also set to No Limit so the download is not capped. Cleared download cache tried everything online but nothing. Can someone please help me?

Did you try to change servers? its possible the server in your area is under some load

My region in Downloads is set to United Kingdom - London. I tried Manchester and im getting the same issue. London and Manchester are the only 2 servers in the UK for steam.

O wait, by the way, what speed do you get on peek in Steam?

O wait, by the way, what speed do you get on peek in Steam?

I get around 10 - 12Mbps but im now getting around 500 - 900kbps

You could try selecting Ireland or another nearby country.

You could try selecting Ireland or another nearby country.

Just tried other Regions like Ireland, France, Netherlands basically countries near the UK however im still getting the same issue.

Do you maybe have a separate PC to test on and see?

Also maybe try talking to your ISP and see if they can shine some light on the issue?

I am honestly not so sure what else can be tried on this issue

I dont have a separate pc i just play on a gaming laptop. I dont have another one.
Secondly i believe this is a steam issue as everything else works fine for downloads. But thanks for the suggestion and your help. I have opened a steam support ticket so im waiting to see what they are going to say.

I am asking to ask the ISP as some rise that the ISP may be slowing down the connection for Steam in some places, in the UK it sounds less likely for me, but its worth to ask them just in case they do it or something like that
