Both go for cheap during sales. Purchasing CS1.6, comes with 3 games -> CS1.6, CS Condition Zero and CZ Deleted Scenes. 3 for the price of 1. CS Source is great too due to on how customizable is with mods.

Never played a Counter-Strike game before? Or just CSGO? Then go for 1.6.

Source is extremely useful for garry's mod and other source-game modding, as a LOT of people use models, textures, and such from it.

But if you have to go with any of them then grab 1.6
