Addtionally, adult only games are a category which is disabled by default. The user MUST activate it before it is possible to see those games.
Without an account you can not see them either.
If you try, you get this:
"An error was encountered while processing your request:
You must login to see this content."
But today I got a few recommendations for some porn VR games because people on my friendslist own those. I have all the filters for thos egames turned on and yet I still see them on the front store page.
No. Matter. What. Ya. Do.
e.g. a game called VR Paradise shows up right now in the tab of games that your firends play on the front store page. And that looks straight up like a porn game to me.
Edit: With "your friends" I was refering to what the tab is called. Which means I was talking about my steam "friends", not yours.
So you're saying you do not have Adult Only Sexual Content enabled and you're still seeing such games? Give an example of such a game you're seeing.
And yes, I enabled all those filters so I dont see these things because I sometimes have steam open at my workplace and due to our policies we cant have any of these things (they are also annoying).
If you enabled it, you actually turned showing them ON. There should be no tick in the box if you don't want too see them.
By filters do you mean tags? Because Store preferences by default are off, you need to turn them on. You're saying you turned them on so that sounds like you actually enabled seeing them.
If you click your account name in the right upper corner of the client, choose Store Preferences, do you or do you not have the boxes ticked for various Mature content settings?
