A lot of people know this.
I wasn't aware of this, mostly because I don't play CS:GO or Dota 2, but I play TF2 occasionally with some friends, good to know in-case something like this happens within my friend group.
Posting this is usually just an indirect advertisement for the site.
It also doesn't matter how these sites are dressed up - they are phishing sites. If any friend sends you such links then report and block them. Their accounts may be hijacked or your friends are trying to scam you.
ANY site that requires a login when you have logged into steamcommunity.com in the same broswer is a phishing site.
So if in doubt, log into the original steamcommunity.com and be aware that malicious sites can do more than just phishing for login information.
Golden rule: if in doubt, don't.
