Ascension to the Throne Valkyrie questions.

I know that this is an older game, but I’m hoping that someone who’s “played it to death” will be able to answer the following questions. I’m on my second play through after beating Samael once, and there are apparently several places shown on the maps that have clearly visible buildings that I haven’t figured out how to access. I’m hoping someone who’s worked this game repeatedly has found some things I haven’t.

First, on Annaroth, I haven’t figured out how to get to Leprose. This seems unnecessary, as I’ve solved all the quests on Annaroth and reunited the whole island, but I was wondering about it, as it’s the only location there I couldn’t visit.

2nd, now to Oganthar. First, I was told to go to Windrose, but couldn’t get there due to the entrance being blocked, so I did the Rescue Fredrick quest at Tokugawa’s Castle. There something strange happened. After the encounters, I headed towards Suntown and passed the soldiers guarding the pass there (since Tokugawa was dead, they let me through. Since there are often chests after encounters, I turned North and headed up behind the tents where Tokugawa’s soldiers were. At some point around the Eastmost tent, I bumped into the cliff face and suddenly was transported to the upper level} (the second play through; the first time, I was repeatedly blocked from going there,) Arthur’s and Gilbert’s castles are on that level, and I received the quest to get into Arthur’s castle in order to unify Oganthar, but couldn’t find a solution to it on that high plateau, couldn’t get into Gilbert’s, and couldn’t get off the plateau. I was blocked from following the roads down below to Suntown and also couldn’t reverse my earlier ascent to the plateay, so I eventually had to reload the game from just after defeating Tokugawa. I wasn’t able to find the Arthur quest on the first play through and so far haven’t found it other than by accident on the second. It seems this area and the quest on ATTT Valkyrie are blocked or at least I can’t find them other than by the accidental approach above. Is this a glitch? A leftover from the original Ascension to the Throne? And what about Windrose? Does anyone know?

Next, on Airath, when I got near the end game, I went to the location that has the chest with the Ring of Swift Defense and got the ring. Then, like the other locations, I explored that area and found myself on the mountain side above Hassadan. I descended all the way to that location, went around it, but could not enter it. Then, I tried to go to Anshan. While I could go up and down the mountain side and even cross one of the lava flows, I couldn’t get there. There were also a couple of locations with portals there that couldn’t be accessed, including a big bowl that had lava pouring in. However, I could at least get back by going up the mountain to be able to finish the without reloading. Since it’s not necessary to complete the game, I assume that the access is an accident or minor glitch, but does anyone really know?

Finally, after defeating Samael, there’s a fairly long video that shows, I think, Alexander doing all the fighting. Anyone know what that’s all about? Eneya did all the heavy lifting in this game. I’ve never done the original Ascension to the Throne; is this the same video?

My personal opinion-the game was a lot of fun. It had some issues with Win 10 and crashed occasionally, once in a while right after a critical battle so I was forced to fight it again, but generally worked and I was able to finish it. The second time, I literally had all the quests crossed off, so I think I found everything. But those questions above do bother me.

.... if this is indeed the same game we're talking about then you'll have much better chances of meeting players if you post in their own forums. At least you can be sure that your post will be read by actual players instead of merely Steam users who might not even understand what you're talking about ;)
