Just because discord are willing to allow something doesn't mean Steam has to different platforms meansdifferent methods and rules.

If what you want to do is chat and send images to one another, discord is indeed the place people go.

If you want to launch a game, Steam is what you use.

I fail to see how they must both be doing all the same things in the same way. You're already running BOTH.

I mean I get what you're saying, it's just personally I expect Steam to help me play games, and NOT be a fully-functional chat box, and I expect Discord to be... well, a fully functional chat box :)

Yeah but Discord is now also aspiring to become a game delivery platform, so you know...
