This thread is from 2017. this 3 year old is at least 8 by now!
Personally, I am one of those volunteers who is creating images for children. So, I guess, it can be useful for you too.

i know this is old, but it is the first i saw of it
so, i like what you are saying, but i would think that one can safely assume that the op is referring to video games if they are asking here
and, just so you know, learning to use a controller, mouse and keyboard, and other gaming/pc peripherals has been to shown to be an excellent way to increase motor skills and cognitive abilities
my kid practically demanded to learn math and how to read so he could play his pokemon game without me.

But he loves it, probably because it's super simple. the only controls he needs to know on the controller are Left Right and A. - And because the A icon appears on screen when his character can interact with something, he's picked it up really fast. - Also, there's no Jumping.
Video of him playing: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ho22ShrCcrbzs7kn9
I've tried him on other games like Peggle, but that doesn't keep him interested all that long.
Also tried a few 3D ones, like Alpacka Stacka over here on steam, but he has issues with turning the camera around on Alpacka Stacka, and as such he's always just walking around blindly, acting like it's a sidescroller.
So, are there any other games, that i can get for him (Any PC platform, not limited to just steam), with requirements/Gameplay similar to "My Friend Peppa Pig?":
+ Controller Support.
+ Left, Right, Action only.
+ No Jumping.
+ No "Game Over / Mission Failed" sort of events.
I recommend spending time with your child, both from the father and mother.
Interact with them even if it seems silly. Reply to the child, etc.
Play with them;
don't make them play alone.
and if they play alone make sure you're around.
As for games, I recommend brain training or educational games. Let them solve puzzles and such and let them be challenged, rather than something lazy / ease of going.
Your child is extremely quick to take up language and communication at the age they are in, abuse this to get them to understand stuff even you don't.
And be careful with your own emotions. Everything will enter the child very harshly and so they may shut off their emotions and needs if they get overwhelmed or traumatized.
Try getting them to develop empathy; care for other people.
there is too little of that. It may be abused and not lead to success and due to the high self centered and selfish people in the world, its possible they will be bullied for standing out with empathy, so there is that risk.
but... you'll have a friend you can connect with in the end, rather than someone who uses their familly to get somewhere.
