Why on EARTH would you run a sale to the 5th and end it mid day? It should have gone to 12 AM EST like every normal person would expect.
Thanks guys!
It was updated every day. The banner on the store page was clear about the day and time.
Yea i guess i just save it for wintersale than.
Good idea save your hard earned money!! There is usually one in the fall too :)
(except it's next sale rather than next week)
Seriously though, just keep the games in your wishlist and you'll get e-mails when they go on sale at whatever random times they do.
Also, Steam's new day always starts at 10 AM U.S. Pacific Time (standard or daylight depending on the time of year).
I bought the thing I knew I was going to buy, early on.
Then I was like, I'm on the fence on a few other games.
In the end, I didn't buy them.
This continues my streak of spending more in GOG's summer sale than Steam's summer sale, which has been the case for the past few years.
This year might have been a trend-buckler since I only bought $3.48 in GOG's sale. But then I only spent $1.99 in Steam's.
Ironically the $1.99 was a gift. I don't like the new gifting policy so it would have been better to send a message against it by not buying a gift, but...it was a commitment I'd made since shortly after the previous semiannual sale.
