The Summer Sale ended with all my items in my checkout I intended to buy
This happened because of crappy life issues I had to sort out. Is there any way that I can contact Steam and get the items for the original Sale price? I won't buy them now because of money issues. They can see through my history that I've had them in my cart for a few days now right? I'm kinda new to Steam so I don't know how everything works.

Thank you kind citizen!

I had the same thing happen, and honestly I frequently do the same thing; add a few games, add a few more, then don't get back before the sale ends to actually purchase them so they go back to full price and the realm of nope.

This time I left to do work and came back and the sale ended & dumped my cart. Disappointing, but not the end of the world. They didn't need my 40 bucks that badly today, but I've got enough in my collection that we all know I'm not ragequitting over it.

There will be more sales. The prices will maybe even be lower than what you just about paid. There will be other trading cards. Patience is a virtue. :steamhappy:

You went to work ten days straight?

Funny. No, I'm working from home today like most everyone else. I meant I left the window, and came back to the cart being empty. It was a few hours' time, and I'm aware I should have paid attention to the expiring time. But I didn't, so all I've got is a story to tell the new players.

So you're basically this sale's "I waited until the last minute and something happened" post.
As you might have guessed, it happens every sale. Since they got rid of flash sales there is no reason to wait until the last day, or even hour. Prices won't change.

You are quite astute. I've got a couple games in my profile already, I'm not new here. I'll reiterate the part where I said I'm not complaining. I'm relaying my experience to the OP.
Hi Jimmy! Welcome to Steam.

Sales are constantly happening. The two big ones for Steam are Summer and Winter. Inbetween those giants, we will have Lunar New Year, sometimes Golden Week sales, Autumn, Halloween, Black Friday etc. And many publishers' sale, thematic sales such as Made in X Country celebration, Indie events. The smaller sales have a higher discount sometimes or comes special in bundles.

Put them on your wishlist as the poster said, it will be back *wink*
No, the games dont go away, put them on your wishlist and wait for next sale.

It works the same way that sales in every store in the world works. Once the sale is over, you can't get the games for the discounted price.

You can get them for the sales price at the next sale event.

No worry! Any disagreement online where people don't start calling each other names is a win. :lunar2020playfuldog:
