Big difference on what a group of 14-year-olds would like compared to 35-year-olds.
It's a game where you're specifically meant to screencheat to win.
Also, there are various Jackbox party games that work well with one screen.
(I would suggest 100% Orange Juice but that requires each player have their own computer. Fun for if you have a group much larger than four people, though, since you can always have a fifth-player spectator broadcasting it to the big screen, and the group won't feel "left out" by not being able to be active players themselves.)
I haven't played PD2, but my guess is that it's just co-op.
Try looking for games with the "Local Co-op" feature.
And thanks Eska, I'll check it out!
Battleblock Theatre
Castle Crashers/ Rampage Knight / Lost Castle
20XX
Binding of Isac
Mercenary Kings
Rocket League
Beat Hazard
Speedrunners
Ultimate Chicken Horse
or if you have console, Mario Kart and Smash Bros are instant win.
Doesnt sound like your looking for fantasy board games, but Talisman is there if you did want to chill out with one.
