Avatar choosing Banned for "inappropriate avatar" for the second time

So apparently some stupid f*****g mod is upset with my profile pic of my friend with a toy gun in his mouth. Just got banned for the second time after I re-uploaded it, I had it on for about 6 months or more before it got banned about half a month ago, and now they banned me again for the same image because THEY found something inappropriate, where as I find it really funny and everyone I play against finds it funny. Mods need to grow the f**k up my god.

To be fair, it's not exactly obvious it is a fake gun. Additionally, Valve taking suicide seriously and taking action if someone takes it lightly or even makes fun of it is acceptable in my opinion.

1.) Noone cares if its a faked gun or not.
2.) Suicide is one of the last topics you should joke about. I hope the guy on the picture is ashamed of his arse.

If you don't want to get your pictures deleted... Use appropriate stuff. Steam is a plattform for everyone but this braindead stuff.

Let's assume that someone lost a friend or family member who commited suicide by the method shown in your profile pic

Let's take your stance that your profile pic should not upset them because it is a fake gun.

Now try to explain to them why they should not be upset and see what response you get.

Sure, but I think you know what I mean. Generally, if the "moderator" is being paid then we call them Steam support or Valve employees. OP is posting about this on the forum where there is no Steam support, thus I'm directing them to contact Steam support.

It wasn't a mod. Someone reported your avatar and it was deemed your avat breached tos and looking at the link to the image in question it isn't surprising.

There was nothing to talk about. The avatar was deemed violating the rules and was henceforth removed, TWICE.

Fake gun or not, I would have to agree that the avatar was not appropriate.
