How do you hide all the hidden games in your library.
All my hidden games suddenly popped up in my library, and for the life of me I can't make them go back to being hidden. So how is this done? (and why is it so unintuitive?)

:teddy_talk: On your Steam client, go to "Library" and on the pull-down menu, "Home"

The left-hand side list, right-click on the game, a pop-up menu will appear, scroll to "Manage" to open another pop-up menu, select "Hide this game"

If that doesn't work, then right click on it and choose "Add to it" and select "+Collection" which is another group or dumpsite for all your hidden games and call it "Hidden games" and move your game(s) there :D

Thanx. I knew how to go about hiding individual games, but what happened was a bunch of stuff that had been hidden before now showed up on my main library under the category "uncategorized", and it looked like I would to go thru and hide them one at a time. Finally, after looking around again, I found a tab the said "tools" & "soundtracks" which now had check marks next to them. When I unchecked them, all the useless stuff disappeared again. I don't know why the check marks suddenly appeared on those tabs, because I certainly didn't check them off. It was also eye opening to see all the crap that various games had installed on my computer.
This will teach you more about your Steam library.

What I can't figure out is how the tab for soundtracks and tools got checked when they had never been checked before and I hadn't checked them.
