Why some people hate Private Proflies?

Sometimes I see a Private Proflie and I edit: SOMETIMES instantly hate those proflies. I know that [some] ppl hate them bc they're scammer or hacker. What do you think ppl hate them(private proflies) for? Edit: I don't judge people by their proflie, the purpose of this thread is to see why otehr people might hate private profliers. I do not put hate on them.

You cannot just compare the thing you should do and must not do together.

And many scammers have their profile open so naive Steam users can see their level, make a judgement based on that alone and then go on to become victims.

Chinese bots are usually private whereas common scammers have open profiles now because the notion that all scammers have private accounts still exists and that's why people suddenly trust high level public ones and get scammed in dreadful fashion.

right, and you have no right to smear every user with the same brush because you don't like users with hidden profiles and thinking they are all hackers and scammers. Something to learn out of the situation at the very least that not everyone is a scammer or a hacker, as you put it with "some".
