Offline Survival Games Suggestions (pc, xbox)

Looking for offline survival type games that I can play offline with no internet. I would prefer to not have to do any file transferring and mods and magic type stuff to get the games to work if that makes sense.

I have heard of games like DayZ and others that ofter some manipulation can be played offline. I would like to avoid this. Thank you in advance.

I believe that all Steam games that are newly bought from the store, must have an Internet connection upon first install and first game start, afterwards the game(s) can be played offline.

For survival games, I usually default to Zombie games with "Dead" keyword during a Steam title search, e.g. Dead Rising, Left 4 Dead (Single-Player campaigns), Dead Island, Dead Space etc..

Oh. BTW, if you're an Xbox achievement addict, 360 achievements do unlock offline but, Xbone achieves only unlock with an Internet connection, say for example, you complete a singleplayer campaign offline, and later you connect online, the Xbone achieves for that game will remain locked :-(

The Forest, Minecraft, Subnautica with 2 games made under the same name are all offline game. I hope this helps Have a good year.
